The International Journal of Levant Studies (IJLS) is an open access journal.
IJLS is aiming at the free dissemination of scientific results among the worldwide research community. All the papers received are submitted to the scientific peer-review process, which is the main and only review process of the journal. At the same time, the journal has no article processing and article submission charges.
This means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search or link to the full texts of the articles in this journal without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access.
Authors with articles published by the International Journal of Levant Studies retain full copyright and publishing rights of their papers on the journal website.
Please note however that the journal is published under the Creative Commons Licence BY-NC-ND (Attribution-Noncommercial-NoDerivatives), which means that:
1. All people can copy and distribute the work. They must give the original creator credit for the work and the name of the journal (Attribution)
2. All people can copy and distribute the work, but not for commercial purposes (Noncommercial)
3. All people can copy and distribute the work. They are not allowed to change the papers without the permission of the author and journal (NoDerivatives)
